In July of this year, World Vision established an office in Gibraltar from where it will manage and track its worldwide fleet of over 11,000 assets using sophisticated software and technology. This coupled with driver and fleet management training will ensure the maximum efficient use of its assets as well as the most effective spend of donor money.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to helping the poorest families worldwide. Established in 1950, World Vision has helped millions of children by providing emergency assistance to those affected by natural disasters and civil conflict as well as providing longer term solutions within communities to alleviate poverty and advocating for justice on behalf of the poor.

Chesterton Estate Agents Gibraltar were appointed to identify the most suitable office in Gibraltar and worked with World Vision to ensure a smooth establishment of their new premises. Given the charitable nature of World Vision, Chesterton Estate Agents committed to donate back to the charity the money they made on this piece of work. “World Vision has been known to me personally for a number of years” said Mr Nicholls, Chesterton’s MD. “So I was delighted when I heard that they were to establish in Gibraltar and that we were chosen to assist that process. At Chesterton Estate Agents Gibraltar we have had another good year and it was an easy decision to make to donate our revenue on this piece of work to their humanitarian cause.”

However, we have already felt the warmth of the Gibraltar community despite no fund raising activities having been undertaken.
