Working from home
I’m working from home and I don’t want to moan but it’s driving me slightly mad
My phone’s on the blink, I am starting to think that office life isn’t so bad
The fridge keeps a calling, my hands keep a trawling through biscuits, nibbles and snacks
By the time I am free, they’ll be nothing to see but a lunatic, hiding the cracks
My day starts at nine and I’m starting to pine for Jonathan, Louis and Paul
I know that sounds sad and things must be bad because that isn’t normal at all
I’m missing the days of rushing around with more keys than my handbag can hold
Then making the call, “Hello Mr Ball, I’m so happy; your property’s sold
But for now we must wait, stay at home, isolate, take advice from the powers that be
Because once it’s all done, we will be back to the fun of selling our clients’ property.
