Chestertons has donated 40 rash vests and 2 beach flags to SUPability, a Gibraltar charity that offers SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and surf experiences for local people with a physical disability, neurological or mental health presentation.

Rash vests are worn to ensure that the arms, back, shoulders and neck remain covered and protected from the sun's harmful UV rays, whilst enhancing the visibility of the paddle board users by those managing the experience. 

Our MD, Paul Duck, met with Tom Cawthorn, a co-founder of SUPability, at Sandy Bay to sample the experience.  Despite falling in, Paul stated “I am really pleased that Chestertons has been able to provide these vests. I have seen how beneficial these experiences are for the participants in terms of physical and mental health, sharing experiences, building relationships and simply being outdoors and connecting with nature. We are delighted to once again support the community in which we operate.”

Tom Cawthorn said “I am so very grateful to Chestertons for this donation. The rash vests are not only practical they also make the participants feel part of a team, having the right equipment is very important to create a safe environment".
