Chestertons is once again asking for your help with our latest charity appeal in partnership with Calling London and DHL Express in Gibraltar. If you don't know what to do with your unwanted coats, jackets, puffas and duffels or just want to make space in your wardrobe, don't throw them away, please donate them to charity appeal instead.
Calling London distributes coats to London based charities helping the homeless, those in poverty, the elderly, refugees and children. Once again, we are delighted that DHL Express has joined forces with us and will be providing the boxes and the courier delivery service to London.
Paul Duck, Chestertons' Managing Director said "As winter draws in, over here in Gibraltar, we are lucky to be able to go home to a nice warm home. It is difficult, sometimes, to know how we can help those less fortunate, so we have made it easy for you. All you need to do is bring any unwanted coats to our office and we will make sure they find a new highly appreciative owner. Back in 2019, we collected 746 coats from a kind-hearted Gibraltar community in just three weeks, if we get close to that this time we will be very happy."
Bring along your unwanted coats (in wearable condition please) to the Chestertons' office in Ocean Village, between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday, or Saturday 10am to 3pm. The appeal starts on Monday 23rd October and will run until Monday 20th November. Unfortunately, we can't accept any other items (scarves, hats, gloves etc).
Help us to make someone warm this winter.
